News Release - City of Tomah Police Department

Date of Release: June 30, 2016
Date/Time of Incident: June 30, 2016  10:25 a.m.
Type of Incident: Armed Robbery
Place of Occurrence: BeMobile Verizon Premium Wireless, 201  Helen Walton Street, Tomah WI

Summary of Incident:
At this time the Tomah Police Department is confirming that we are investigating an Armed Robbery which occurred at the BeMobile Verizon Premium Wireless store which is located at 201 Helen Walton Drive in Tomah.

Officers from the Tomah Police Department and Detectives from the Monroe County Joint Investigative Task Force are currently investigating the incident.

A vehicle with Illinois plates believed to be involved in the incident was located abandoned in Oakdale Wis.

This case remains under investigation.  Anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to contact the Tomah Police Department at 608 374-7400 or the Monroe County Crime Stoppers at 608 269-STOP.

The Tomah Police Department was assisted by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Monroe County Communications Center.
