males with varying physical descriptions
Summary of Incident:
On June 30, 2016 at 10:25 a.m. the Monroe County Communications
Center received a 911 call reporting an Armed Robbery at BeMobile, A
Verizon Premium Wireless Retailer located at 201 Helen Walton Drive,
Tomah, WI.
Information was obtained from the BeMobile employee that three
suspects entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money
from the employee. An unknown amount of money was taken by the
suspects. While in the store the suspects also took multiple
electronic devices.
The suspects were last seen leaving the area traveling east on State
Highway 21 (presumably to access I-94 westbound toward Oakdale, WI)
At approximately 11:15 a.m. the Monroe County Communication Center
received a call from a citizen advising of an unoccupied vehicle
parked in the area of W Cougar Drive and White Street, Oakdale, WI.
The vehicle description from the citizen very closely matched
that of the suspect vehicle.
Officers from multiple agencies converged on the location and
temporarily closed W Cougar Drive and White Street while the vehicle
and surrounding area were searched for the suspects.
The vehicle was positively identified as the suspect vehicle
and it was subsequently impounded for evidence processing.
The Monroe County Joint Investigative Task Force is working with
area retailers to obtain surveillance videos that may help produce
leads that will result in the identification of the three (3)
suspects.

The Tomah Police Department was assisted by the Monroe County
Sheriff Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Monroe County
Communications Center.
