The operator of the motor vehicle that was transported to the Tomah Memorial Hospital was Arthur Loveless, 62 yoa, from the Tomah area.  Information was received that Loveless was med flighted to an unknown medical facility.  His current medical status is unknown.

Date: 10/19/10 @ 5:10 p.m.

On today’s date at approx. 3:18 p.m. the Tomah Police Department was advised of a two vehicle accident near the Tomah Post Office at 1000 N Superior Ave.  The driver of one of the vehicles suffered some type of medical condition.  After striking another vehicle that was south bound on N Superior Ave the vehicle went through the ditch, across the frontage road and struck the post office building.  The subject was unconscious when personal arrived and medical assistance was rendered.  The subject was transported to Tomah Memorial Hospital by the Tomah Ambulance Service.  The Tomah Police Department was assisted on the scene by the Tomah Ambulance Service, Tomah Fire Department, Wisconsin State Patrol and others.
