Monroe County Combined Tactical Unit (CTU)
CTU is made up from members of the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, Sparta Police Department and Tomah Police Department.

Tomah Police Department K-9 Unit
The Tomah Police Department currently has one dual-purpose (drug detection & patrol work) K-9. Officer Hintz is the current K-9 handler with K-9 Jager.

School Resource Officer (SRO)
Officer Melanie Marshall is the current School Resource Officer. She works Monday - Friday from 800AM to 400PM and has an Office at the Tomah High School. During the summer, Officer Marshall assists Patrol Officers with calls for service.

Gang Resistance Education And Training - (G.R.E.A.T.)
The G.R.E.A.T. program is mainly taught at Tomah Area Schools by Officer Melanie Marshall. Sergeant Pete Huneck assists by teaching when Officer Marshall is unable to do so.
